Muhammad Abacha to contest

Nigerian politics sometimes can be a funny game. Sometimes, the shrewd politicians will create a scenario that will present them as being persuaded by the public to contest. There are numerous instances where this has happened and the latest example is Muhammad Abacha. Muhammad Abacha used the end of Ramadan Fast in Nigeria to start distributing posters of himself creating awareness of his personality to the citizens of Kano sate.
We can only but watch events unfold. Given the records of his father, Nigerians will very well frown at his candidacy in any party.

Gani Fawehinmi is the “mouth piece of the common man” He fought for peace, promoted democracy and eschew dictatorship. It is ironical that Gani did not smoke and yet died of lung cancer. There are arguments that IBB was responsible for Gani’s cancer, but how? Please leave your comments !

Is this because of the revenue he is generating from the new tax systems the governor has introduced in Lagos?

Rejoinder

Our target is to create an environment where people can share knowledge and discuss Nigerian events. Nigeria is our country and together we can build a great nation. Let people say what they feel and think but one day we shall overcome and be led by leaders that understand the needs of the people. Through our efforts, we can re-brand Nigeria.
